Son of  the most successful parisian lawyer, Nestor Juillard (40) has always wanted to leave the city and live in the countryside, despite his father's wish to see him carry on the family business. A tyrannical father who refused every desire of his son, who had no choice but to go behind his back to get a diploma in agriculture.

Years later, with now his own family, Neness, as people call him, has finally bought his own farm and raises cows in Bourgogne. A success he wants to thrown in his father's face before he dies, but he discovers in horror that the cows he bought are ill.

Thus starts a battle between Neness and the corporation which sold him the cattle, a David versus Goliath type of fight during which the farmer will have to face his own demons as much as use them to try and win, at the risk of losing his family.
